Jason's photograph's are being featured in the October issue of Canadian Geographic.  The images accompany a story on on the bald eagles of Besnard Lake, and all the great work that Jon Gerrard and his team are doing up there.  Jason was lucky enough to go up there earlier this year and work with the team to get these images.

Jon Gerrard and his team have been banding and tracking bald eagles at Besnard Lake for over 50 years.  2017 marks the highest number of successful nests in the study's history, with 32 young born in 25 of the 50 nests tallied. That area provides tall, sturdy trees for the eagles large nests, as well as a lake that is high in nutrients, which helps produce more fish for the eagles to feed on. Pick up a copy today to read more on the story and to see Jason's images!
